The Ariel Weissmann Undergraduate Research Fund
The Ariel Weissmann Undergraduate Research Fund ensures that Ariel’s dream is realized through the next generation of leaders seeking to repair the world. Most importantly, it seeks to encourage students to study one major human blind spot: how we treat animals, and by extension, our only home, the earth. In 2023 we established our first academic partnership with Brandeis University, providing stipends for undergraduate students conducting faculty-mentored research on topics related to: Climate Justice & Sustainable Agriculture and Food System; Nutrition, Lifestyle and Preventive Medicine; and Paradigm Shift in the Relationship between Humans and Nature.
Stop Factory Farms
We support campaigns to stop big corporate interests from externalizing the immeasurable costs of exploiting, extracting, polluting and destroying our climate, soil, air, water, food supply chain, animals, farmworkers, biodiversity, communities and the very systems that sustain life on Earth- all to extract ever more profit for the few. We launched our first campaign to stop factory farms as a supporting member of the Stand Up to Factory Farms (SUFF) coalition in Oregon. Together, we are working to stop factory farms from exacerbating the climate crisis, polluting our environment and causing the immeasurable suffering of animals.
